Red LED lights

My 2023 Jeep Compass just started showing red LEDs under the drive mode selector. I'm pretty sure they used to light up green when selecting modes like Snow or Auto. I couldn't find anything in the manual or online about the color changing. Is red normal, or is it trying to signal something? For reference, the lights I'm referring to are those in the hybrid, electric, e-save modes.

The red LEDs beneath the drive mode selector in your 2023 Jeep Compass are not what you'd normally expect usually they're green or white. When they turn red it could indicate a system issue particularly in hybrid or electric modes. Since the owner's manual doesn't cover this it might be a good idea to get a diagnostic scan or talk to a Jeep dealer.Have you seen any warning messages or noticed any changes in how the car performs when the red lights come on?

How long has it been showing red, did it start after a service or software update? That color shift might be a warning or fault indicator, not just a mode change

crazy...haven't seen red before, maybe the system is flagging a fault?, check for stored codes, or wait, have you tried doing a soft reset?, you can take it to the dealer if it doesn't stop after everything

Can't remember at the top of my head about the color, but I don't think it should be red. Amber maybe, but not red. Have you checked if there's an update or something that could be causing this? Or maybe you already did one and now the system is confused? Anyway, since it's a 23 model, it should be under warranty, so I'm guessing you should go to the dealer before you start poaking around

Likely a warning or something's off with those modes, especially since its happening in hybrid or e-save. Check your dashboard for any alerts and consider getting a quick diagnostic scan to see what's going on.

Have you checked if the drive mode still works as expected? Try asking the dealer if they flashed anything recently.
