My bro has always been a fan of Jeep, he just bought a 2019 Compass, but it's acting weird. First night he drove it, he noticed the brake lights were staying on constantly.

I've checked it this morning, here's how it's weird. So, when the running lights are ON, the brake lights are stuck ON.
And when the turn running lights OFF, the brake lights go OFF.
Turn the running lights back ON, brake lights stay off until he hits the pedal. Then, they're stuck ON again.

Third brake light works normally, and I've checked the brake pedal switch. Honestly, idk what to do here.

Anyone ever seen this on a Compass or has any clue what's going on?

Dont know much about these things but I think its a bad tail light socket because what you're describing about the brake lights stuck on only when running lights are on most times points to backfeeding through the tail light circuit and that can happen if either a dual filament bulb is installed wrong, the socket is corroded, or the wrong bulb type was used.
That's all I know though because I've encountered something similar with someone else, so you could say pull the tail light housings and check the sockets for corrosion or melting nd lets see from there
